The winter of 2025-2026 was one of the more unusual seasons we've ever seen around here. Snowfall and snowpack were below average all season long, though not as bad compared to other parts of the Western U.S. Precipitation was actually close to average this winter, but the main factor this winter is that temperatures were the warmest on record, which impacted snow levels and snow conditions.
