Monsoonal thunderstorms will favor the Central Rockies and Southwest this week, producing some localized soaking rains but not to the extent of what we saw last week. Heavy wildfire smoke will continue to impact the Interior Northwest & Northern Rockies, while coastal portions of the PNW will see better air quality. Next week, the monsoon will weaken with more isolated storms for the Southwest.
